There are plenty of ways to experience this magical season to the fullest – from tree lightings to boat shows, and everything in between. Immerse yourself in the warmth, joy, splendor and excitement of the holiday season at these local events in Boca Raton.

Holiday Street Parade

Wednesday, December 6 | 7:30-9 p.m.

Holiday Street Parade

Don’t miss the 47th Annual Holiday Street Parade hosted by the City of Boca Raton. This year’s theme is “Light Up Boca,” and the parade will begin at Federal Highway and Southeast 5th Street, traveling north towards Mizner Park Amphitheater. This free, fun and festive event is the perfect cap to an evening spent shopping or dining at the area’s many shops and restaurants.

Boca Raton Town Hall’s 90th Birthday

Thursday, December 7 | 5-9 p.m.

Join the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum for a special lecture and reception honoring the 90th birthday of Boca Raton Town Hall. The guest speaker will be Kathy Dickenson, who will offer a look back at the building’s restoration in the 1980s. The Fire Bay Gift Shop will be featuring their annual holiday sale! Intracoastal Holiday Light Cruise

Thursday, December 7 | 5:30-7 p.m.

Set sail atop Palm Breeze Charters’ 55-foot Catamaran yachts for the Intracoastal Holiday Light Cruise, including an open bar with beer, wine, soda, bottled water and bar snacks. Tickets for this unique holiday cruise cost $65 per person or $45 for children 12 and under.

Boca Chamber’s 36th Annual Holiday Auction

Thursday, December 7 | 5:30-9 p.m.

Boca Chamber’s Annual Holiday Auction is one of their most popular events of the year, drawing 300-400 people for an evening of networking and fun competition. Bid on exciting auction items to help the many successful programs at the Boca Chamber and to ensure the development of future programs. Take part in the live and silent auctions for a variety of desirable items while you enjoy culinary delights provided by some of Boca’s best restaurants. Register for this delightful evening at Via Mizner Golf & Country Club in advance. Each $30 ticket includes entry to the even, two drinks, and dinner by the bite.

FAU’s Tuba Christmas

Sunday, December 10 | 5 p.m.

Join in the festivities with Florida Atlantic University’s annual Tuba Christmas performance at Mizner Park. Doors open at 4 p.m. and this event is free and open to the public! Chairs and blankets are welcome, and chairs will be available to rent for $5 cash inside the venue. Purchase food and beverages inside the venue, and enjoy delightful Christmas songs from this talented group.

15th Annual Gingerbread Holiday Concert

Sunday, December 10 | 2-4:30 p.m.

Lynn University presents its 15th Annual Gingerbread Holiday Concert at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, featuring musical classics of the season. Lynn Conservatory of Music Dean Jon Robertson will lead the university’s Philharmonia in this pops concert. The event will also include a special piece from Disney’s “Frozen,” an appearance by princess Elsa, and photo opportunities with Santa. Event proceeds benefit the Lynn Conservatory of Music which provides scholarships to talented student musicians.

Pet Photo Night

Pet Photo Night

Make sure your fur baby is included in all of the holiday fun this year! Bring your pet to sit, stay and pose for a photo with Santa in the Nordstrom courtyard at the Town Center at Boca Raton on Sunday, December 10 from 6-8 p.m.

Menorah Lighting at Boca Raton Resort & Club

Tuesday, December 12 | 6 p.m.

Kick off the first night of Hanukkah at the Menorah Lighting in the front courtyard at Boca Raton Resort & Club. Rabbi Ruvi New of Chabad of East Boca will be leading attendees in song and dance along with the ceremonial passing of the torch. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be served, in addition to special goodie bags for kids.

Family Hanukkah Dinner

Friday, December 15 | 7 p.m.

Celebrate Hanukkah at the Boca Raton Resort & Club with a fun-filled dinner featuring salmon, chicken fricassee, potato pancakes, delicious desserts, and a festive kids buffet. Enjoy holiday crafts and games in addition to a DJ and dancing. Tickets for this event cost $55 for adults, $45 for teens, $35 for children ages 5-12, and are free for children under 4.

Holiday Boat Parade

Saturday, December 16 | 6:30-8 p.m.

Holiday Boat Parade

Experience the holidays in true South Florida fashion at the City of Boca Raton’s annual Holiday Boat Parade, featuring stunning boats decked out in holiday lights and decor. You may either enter your boat to participate in the parade, or simply enjoy the parade from the western portion of Red Reef Park, the Wild Flower Property, or Silver Palm Park viewing areas. The parade will start in the Intracoastal Waterway at the C-15 canal and travel south to Hillsboro Bridge. Register your boat in the parade for free, and you could win a cash prize if your boat wins!

Polar Express Movie and Activities

Friday, December 22 | 5:30 p.m.

Watch the enchanting holiday film “The Polar Express” under the stars at Mizner Park Amphitheater to kick off the holiday weekend. Doors open at 5 p.m. for activities and the movie starts at 6:30 p.m. Chairs and blankets are welcome, and chairs will be available to rent for $5 in cash inside the venue. Food and beverages are available for purchase throughout the movie, but this event is free and open to the public.

Boca Raton Resort & Club’s Christmas Grand Buffet and Bonfire

Monday, December 25 | 3-9 p.m.

Celebrate Christmas evening within the inviting atmosphere of Boca Raton Resort & Club. The Grand Ballroom comes alive with the warmth of the season and a sparkling display of their chefs’ finest efforts at the Christmas Grand Buffet from 3-8 p.m. Visit the holiday craft corner featuring face painting, a DJ and other festive activities. Head to the beach between 7 and 9 p.m. for a Family Beach Bonfire with s’mores, complimentary hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee and live music!
