The Real Deal’s October 2026 magazine examines how South Florida communities are shaping new development, and turns to Gerry Liguori for the brokerage perspective on Boca Raton.
Premier Estate Properties Broker/Owner Gerry Liguori is featured in The Real Deal’s October 2026 magazine, in a report on a growing pattern across Palm Beach County: residents organizing around large-scale development. The article, “Inside South Florida’s fledgling anti-development movements,” follows grassroots groups in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton and considers what their rise means for the region’s real estate market.
Boca Raton After The Referendum
In Boca Raton, the redevelopment of the city’s government center and public park went to a referendum in March, and voters turned the plan down. The project is now back at the starting line, and in September the city engaged a Fort Lauderdale planning firm to draft a new master plan.
Gerry Liguori’s View
The Real Deal turned to Liguori as the article’s closing voice. He expects the second round to move more smoothly, with the city ready to meet in the middle. “A lot of the main issues have been fought,” he told the publication.
The article also notes Premier’s role in helping promote Addison Village, a concept for the site inspired by Addison Mizner’s Spanish-Mediterranean architecture, which Liguori said blends better with the city’s existing park.
